Homecoming

Sylas wraps his arms around her, giving her a gentle kiss. "C'mon...you left a job half finished..."

"If you say sooo..." In a sing song voice, she pulled him up the stairs with her.

Sylas followed, a small grin on his face, letting himself be pulled up the stairs like a child.

Getting to bathroom, she removes her towel, turning the water back on. She smirks.

Sylas strips slowly, revealing a disconcerting number of scars, at least half a dozen per appendage. He smirks as well, leaning against the wall and watching her. "Is it bad that I find you sexier a few months pregnant?"

Dowan gaped, her fingers lightly tracing his scars, "You are so handsome. Even with all the scars." Then realization of what he said hit her, and she laughed, "Dammit Sylas!"

He chuckled a bit, giving her another kiss. "Hm, glad you think so..."

Dowan loved the closeness of their bodies, glad to have that warmth back. Glad to have him back. She steps in the shower, pulling him in with her.

Sylas grinned wide, following her. "Do you remember one of the first times we made love? It was on a trip, and we took a bath together..."

Dowan's face flushed red, "Yeah, well, I was quite the pistol back then." And it was kind of embarrassing. She pushed his wet hair back, smiling at him, and pulling him closer to her, "Did we watch Harry Potter that night?"

He gave her a quick kiss. "Yeah...and I got a little jealous the next day over that guy that flirted with you..."

"A little bit?" She scoffed, but she was smiling. He really defended her honor that day.

Sylas smirked a bit, pulling her into a hug and squeezing her chest gently. "Yeah...a little bit."

"I've missed you." Dowan whispered.

Sylas whispered softly into her ear, holding her tight to him. "Every day...I lived through every day with the single goal...of seeing you again."
