Homecoming

Sylas nodded, kissing her forehead. "Absolutely..."

"Okay!" She chirped, kissing him on the cheek, "I'm going to take a shower, you'll be okay without me right?" Getting her nod of reassurance, Dowan left him to his own devices to take a bath.

Sylas finished cleaning the kitchen and the dining room, sitting down near the door in a meditative stance. He closed his eyes, finding himself in his soulscape. Half of it was the orderly atrium it had been for five years, the other half was pure chaos, the atrium in pieces, the sky dark and foreboding. He saw his other self wandering through the darkness, and manifested his weapon form, charging for another of their many battles of will.

OOC: Poke?

(Not sure what to do with the M!Sylas one since they haven't met yet XD)

OOC: Well, ya, but wasn't Dowan taking a shower? She could interupt them?

(Wasn't quite sure how to do it, I'll give it a shot.)

Dowan frowned as she realized she had forgotten something downstairs. Wrapping herself in a towel, she walked downstairs.

She should have learned by now not to leave Sylas to his own devices.

Sitting down across from him, she entered his mind.

Mad Sylas held Sylas by his neck when he noticed Dowan. He smirked a bit. "Hello there, Love. Just about to teach hubby here a lesson, then go out for a night on the town. Care to join me?"

Sylas futilely kicked at his mad self, unable to get out of the others grip.

Dowan groaned. If wasn't one thing, it was another.

"If I wasn't pregnant I would kick your ass. Let Sylas go, stupid. You won't like the results of a mad pregnant woman." She glared. Really there was nothing to fight with, but she could bluff. He had her husband after all.

Mad Sylas was about to make a snide comment when he was impaled once. Then twice. Then a flurry of spears made him look like a bloody porcupine. Sylas let the spears drop, leaving him standing there with Mad Sylas on the ground. Already the wounds were starting to heal. Sylas looked over to Dowan. "C-Come here...I need...your help..."

Dowan sighed, "I'm coming."

Sylas took her hand, concentrating. The Atrium began to rebuild itself until it was as good as new, a constellation of stars hanging over them. "T-There...the perfect prison. Enough cracks that he can get out and torment me, but solid enough that...that he can't get out out..."

"How did he manifest himself into this, do you know?" Dowan asked quietly.

Sylas looked up through the windows. "He was always here. I was just able to keep him buried. Then...Saca, and...Well, it wasn't good. He took possession of half of it and then...well, we started fighting. And he would win, and then....well, a lot of people were hurt because of me."

"So he became someone else all together?" Dowan acknowledged. She stared up, too. "We always seem to get ourselves in trouble, don't we?"

Sylas offered her his hand. "I can't promise I can get rid of it, but I'll do me best to lessen it..."

She took his hand, "Even with just teaching jobs, are we to be able to protect our child (ooc: children, now, I guess) from ourselves?" She laughed slightly.

Sylas pulled her into a kiss. "I don't know, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to try..."

She kissed back lightly, "I know. I know it."

Sylas smiled, then willed them back into the real world. He smirked at her state of undress. "Maybe I could join you for that shower?" He arched an eyebrow, the smirk growing into a grin.

Dowan smirked, "But you just had a shower, silly." she purred, her fingers up his torso.

Sylas gave her forehead a quick kiss. "Maybe I want another...just to be sure?"

"Of course." She pulled him into a kiss.

Sylas returned the kiss, pulling them up into to stand. He smirked again, pulling back. "I won't be able to carry you for a while..."

"Unfortunately. I always did like it when you carried me." Dowan pouts, but tugs his hand toward her.
