The cure to emptiness

In the cold, still air stood a young woman with pure white hair that shimmered under the moonlight, which was strong on this particular night. Most who saw her thought she had a soul as pure as gold, but they would be surely wrong for this woman was no angel. Well, to be fair, this is only half of her. Sadly the half that isn't wicked and sinful was continuously devoured by her dark side at this time of night.

Though, unlike most horrifying nights, this angel of darkness wasn't running around, causing chaos everywhere she went. Instead she was here, staring at the almost empty streets wondering what was this forever empty feeling she felt. It wasn't that this feeling was new to her, but usually she would ignore it and move on. But tonight was different. Tonight she was opening up to it; sea searching for the cure. Just as she was about to move to a different location, thinking she may find some answers there, her eyes spotted two teenagers like herself walk by. It seemed like they were on a date considering they were holding hands and the male's coat was being worn by the female.

Just by staring at them the thoughts of companionship entered her mind. Was she just lonely? Before Mizuki could answer this question, another pair of teenagers walked by, but this time they were two females who seemed to be only friends. The sight of this summoned a foreign word to her usually corrupted mind; friends. Was this the answer to her puny problem?
