Date Niiiiight (Mature)

Dralin was in his normal suit today, but miraculously, it was buttoned up. His red tie still showed, and he also had a vest underneath his jacket, unlike normal. He had scheduled to pick Aiko up from her apartment at 7:00, so here he was...one minute late. He took a deep breath and then knocked on the door, quickly brushing his hair forward which had somehow made neat instead of shaggy and wild. He stepped back a bit and waited for someone to answer the door.

Aiko opened the door, blushing a bit. She was dressed, unusually, in a white dress with a yellow, obviously asian inspired, floral print, and holding a small purse in front of her with both hands. Her hair was in a bun behind her, held up by a pair of chopsticks, black with yellow filigree. She stammered a bit, clearly out of her element. "I-I'm sorry, I-I...I didn't know whether or not to dress formally or casually..."

Dralin smiled when he saw her. He had always thought she looked beautiful, but she definitely looked even better in a dress. "Don't worry about it Aiko...you look amazing. Besides, I always wear suits, so in a way you dressed fancier than me." His smile grew, and he held out his hand for her to take.

She took his hand, blushing as she did so. "S-So, what did you have planned?"

Dralin began to lead her away from the apartment and then turned so that he was walking next to her and said, "I thought we could go to the Deathstaurant. How do you feel about French food?"

She smiled a bit, giving a small nod. "French food is good... She let go of his hand, instead looping her arm through his. She blushed, stammering. "S-Sorry..."

He looked at her, confused, as they kept walking. "Sorry for what? You don't exactly have anything to be sorry about...as far as I know. If you're referring to putting your arm through mine, well, I like it a bit more than holding hands."

She gave a short nod, smiling wider. Not really sure what to say, she walked with him in silence, enjoying the crisp fall evening.

Dralin took a deep breath and slowly exhaled. "Man it's beautiful tonight...plus I'm on a date with one of the coolest girls in Death City...nothing could make me happier." He looked over to her and rubbed her arm slightly while they were intertwined.

Aiko blushed softly, squeezing his arm. "S-Shut up...."

Dralin looked a bit surprised by that and turned a little red. "I'm sorry...I-I didn't mean to offend you..."

She smiled a bit. "Y-You didn't, its just...I-I'm not used to being on a date...o-or complimented like that..."

Dralin stops them, smiling, and he turns to face her, taking his arm away. "Well, I think you should be complimented like that. Because it's true." His smile was warm and gentle, and he locked eyes with her. He brings his hand to her cheek and says, "And as for dates...well, I'm surprised I was even able to get you to go on one with me."

Aiko blushed deeply, flabbergasted. She stuttered a bit, unsure what to say. "I-I....erh...." Her head tilted a bit as she subconsciously moved her head to meet his hand.

Dralin smiled a bit more and said, "And you have no idea how much I want to kiss you right now...but I'm not sure if that would be appropriate considering we haven't even had dinner." He grins and slowly begins to move away, but not noticeably.

She blushed even deeper, smiling a bit. "T-Then lets get going..."

Dralin nods his head and takes his hand away from her cheek, re-lopping his arm in hers and continued on the way there, not saying a word and just enjoying the evening weather.

Aiko kept looking over at him, a light blush staying on her cheeks. She continued in silence as well, mostly because she was unable to think of what to talk about. Shed never been on a date, and certainly not with anyone liked Dralin. She blushed a bit deeper. They'd all been on the same team in their academy days, so they knew one another, but... This was new, different.

They finally made it to their destination, and when they did, Dralin opened the door for Aiko. "After you." He says, gesturing for her to enter. He noticed her blushing a bit deeper than before and wondered what that was all about. He let the thought leave his mind as he waited for her to enter so he could.

She nodded her head in thanks, heading into the restaurant. She turned, waiting for him to follow.

He did so and he went to the host waiting behind the podium looking thing they have at restaurants. "Reservation for Dralin Akagi." The man nodded and motioned for them to follow him to a table. When they were seated they were handed menus and the man said, "A waiter will be with you shortly." and walked away.

Aiko stayed quiet, still unsure of what to say. She perused the menu, trying to figure out what to get.

Dralin had his menu to the side and said, "So, Aiko...how have you been the past few years?" He was trying to start a conversation, hoping that it wouldn't be awkward.

She looked up from her menu, setting it to the side. "Good...Sozen and I have been traveling, y'know...mission after mission...keeps us busy."

Dralin nods his head and says, "But it's no fun to be busy all the time. Sometimes you just gotta...relax, y'know? Kinda like this."
