Harmony and Chaos

Dralin narrowly swung out of the way of the behemoths attack, almost getting swatted away. He tried to land on it's back to start hacking at it, assuming he wasn't batted away by the creature.

They creature stumbled to its knees as Sozen continued to attack its legs. The creature batted at him, sending him flying to the edge of the clearing.

Dralin grunted and kicked off from the creature. He began to whip his chain and daggers at it yelling insults to keep it's attention away from Sozen and Aiko.

The tree was almost a third purified and the creature turned its attention to Aiko. Sozen rose from where he'd landed, limping towards the fight again.

Dralin exhaled and he threw his dagger forward, the chain getting longer as it went and he tried to wrap it around where the thing's neck would be, trying to lodge it it one side and his other dagger on the other side.

The creature turned towards him, swatting at him. Aiko continued to meditate with the tree, and Sozen reached the fight again, getting the jump on the creature and cutting on of its arms off.

This time, Dralin was swatted away, but he managed to turn himself in the air and a dagger on each side of his hip connected to a chain sprouted from there, and shot out towards the creature. He began to swing around it using the chain's from his hips, trying to get behind it and also distracting it.

Sozen was again swatted away, but the creature was slowing as Aiko continued her work. The creature turned to her, lumbering slowly towards her.

Dralin finally made it to the back of the creature. Curved blades slowly sprouted from the back of his hands and when they did, he shot his dagger and chains at the behemoth's neck, flying through the air towards it, stabbing at it with the blades on his hands.

The creature fell flat on its face, and with only one arm it had trouble getting back up. Sozen limped over to them, about to decapitate it when he was tripped. Sticks rolls over the ground and started to regenerate the creature. The tree was almost completely purified, but Aiko looked very weak.

Dralin was struggling to his his blades out of the creature. He ended up having to have them disappear, which made him lose his balance and stumble off of the creature, landing on the ground.

Aiko finished purifying the tree, and the effect was immediate. A wave spread of the forest as life was restored. The leaves of fall grew rapidly from the branches of both the great tree and those in the forest. The behemoth stopped, collapsing back into a pile of sticks. Aiko fell to the side, unconscious.

Dralin slowly got up, dusting himself off. He stumbled over to Aiko, kneeling next to her. "Sozen! Come over here!" He began to feel her forehead and checked her pulse. Her pulse felt normal enough, at least.

Sozen limped over to her, not looking overly worried. "She overexerted herself. She'll wake up with a hell of a headache, but otherwise she'll be fine..."

Dralin breathed a sigh of relief and fell onto his back. "Well...that was interesting...definitely glad it's over with though."

Sozen looked around at the newly restored forest. "I'm always amazed by what she can do..."

Dralin sat up and looked around nodding. "She sure is something..." He smiled as he looked at the nature that was in the forest.

The creature slowly rose, though the lights that seemed to represent its eyes were now a light gold. It lumbered off into the forest, quickly vanished from sight. Sozen sighed and picked Aiko up, heading out of the forest.

Dralin got up and followed Sozen through the forest. "So...guess we're going back to Death City then?"

Dralin blushed a bit and he put a hand behind his neck nervously. "Oh, y'know...stuff. Nothing too important."

Sozen, unable to see him, shrugged it off, and trudged through the forest towards their buggy.

Dralin kept following him. He wondered what Sozen would think about him asking Aiko out...he hoped he'd be cool about it. Well, knowing Sozen, he was almost sure he would be alright with it.

Sozen reached their buggy, starting to strap Aiko in. "Do you have a ride?"

Dralin shook his head. "Nah. Mind if I ride with you guys? Could use the company on the way back to Death City."
